FAQ, frequently asked questions:

1. What is the difference between the C.A.N. and the C.O.H. ? The C.A.N. will show you what cargo is being received for you that day. The C.O.H. will show you what cargo has accumulated in our terminal.

2. How often can I receive these reports? The C.A.N. can be received as shipments come in or once a day in a summarized report. The C.O.H. can be received maximum of once per day but you can limit that to once per week or every other day, the choice is yours. The default is set to 5 P.M. the day before of our LCL cargo cut-off.

3. What do I do with these reports? That is up to you! They are designed to help you keep track of your incoming orders. You can do nothing and the cargo will be shipped to you on our next scheduled sailing. You can forward the report to your customer care representative with any inquiries you may. If you want the cargo shipped air freight you can forward the report to ctair@caribtrans.com with instructions to ship Air. Again, the choice is yours.

4. Can I change the frequency of these reports? Yes, every e-mailed report will have a link that you can click on to change the frequency or choice of report(s) you want.

5. Who can I contact if I experience problems with the reports? Our Vice President, Luis R. Martínez is personally overseeing these reports and their accuracy. You can contact Luis by phone at (305) 696-1200 ext. 229 or by e-mail; luisrm@caribtrans.com
