Caribtrans exclusive off-pier warehouse

As of November 1999 Caribtrans, Caribtrans Air and ABC International Freight (a registered trademark of Caribtrans) have the exclusive capability of handling all its LCL cargo in the only off-pier warehouse in Barbados. Thru its agent, Windward Agencies, Caribtrans and all its affiliate companies have begun off-loading its LCL containers at Freight Handling Services. FHS, A warehousing facility in Barbados built for the intended use of its principals, Caribtrans being one of them.

Caribtrans is elated at the operation which is under direct control of the Customs and Excise Department. This makes for a swift and highly secure operation. This new procedure revolutionizes the shipping industry in Barbados, making it fast and easy for customers to receive their shipments and maintain the integrity of their cargo against damage and other loss.

Marc Sampson and Robert Foster of Windward Agencies and Freight Handling Services, in conjunction with the Customs and Excise Department, are in direct control of the operations. They make sure our customers' cargoes are expedited in the least amount of time possible.

Caribtrans ocean freight service to Barbados consists of weekly sailings from the port of Miami with a total transit time of 6 days. We handle Less than Container Load cargo and Full Container Load cargo as well as 3-4 weekly flights via Caribtrans Airfreight.
