Caribtrans alliance with W.E. Julien & Co. Ltd.
It was made official on January 4th 2001, Caribtrans signed a formal agreement with W.E.
Julien & Co. of Grenada to represent and market our shipping services.
Chris Warner, shipping manager of W.E. Julien expressed his feelings, "W.E. Julien,
being a traditional company with very deep roots in Grenada had been waiting for a
company such as Caribtrans. This agreement adds to our well rounded spectrum of services
and gets us closer to our goal of diversification". "We are extremely excited about our
newly founded relationship with a premier NVOCC like Caribtrans".
The ocean freight service will consist of weekly sailings from the port of Miami with a
total transit time of 8 days. Caribtrans will handle Less than Container Load
cargo and Full Container Load cargo to the island and will make use of its resources
to assure total customer satisfaction. Air freight service is also available with up to
