Martin Medina

Martin Medina is the General Manager of Caribtrans Logistics and has over 30 years of experience working in the Shipping and Logistics industry. He has worked for Tropical Shipping since 2005 and Caribtrans since 2011. Originally from Santo Domingo, Domincan Republic, Martin has first-hand knowledge of Caribbean markets and facilitating cargo shipments throughout the region. His passion for the industry and building relationships is evident through the systems, processes, and teams he directs and oversees. In his free time, Martin likes to spend time with his family, travel, watch movies, and listen to music.

Anthony Cenac

Anthony Cenac is our Island Manager for the St. Lucia region. Originally from Castries, St. Lucia, Anthony’s local knowledge pairs perfectly with his over 36 years of experience in the Shipping/Logistics industry. He has worked for Caribtrans since 2008, and his favorite part about his job is tackling new challenges everyday while helping customers in the context of an ever-changing industry. In his free time, Anthony likes to travel, play dominoes, watch movies, meet new people, and explore nature.

Eddie Andre

Eddie is our Island Admin/Ops Manager for St. Maarten. He is originally from Dominica but grew up on the French side of St. Martin (Quarter d’ Orleans) and attended school on the Dutch side of the island. Eddie has been part of the Caribtrans Team since 2007 and brings over 13 years of shipping and logistics experience along with a background in the Sales/Tourism/Transportation industries. His favorite part about his job is the ability to meet new people on a consistent basis. In his free time, you can find Eddie spending quality time with his family, going to the beach, or traveling.

John Nelson

Nicola Alleyne

Ms. Laphonne Alleyne, better known as Nicola, is a native of Guyana. She is from the town of New Amsterdam in the county of Berbice. However, Antigua has been her home for the past thirty-one years of which the last five years she has served as Manager for the Caribtrans Antigua Business Unit.

She has made a name for herself within the industry as she has transitioned from sales representative to sales supervisor to her present managerial position. The support from the job affords her the ability to contribute her vision towards personal satisfaction through having autonomy of her job. Further, the collaborative environment provides additional support towards a strong climate significant to job satisfaction reflective in her seventeen years on staff.
She welcomes the opportunity for travel given her love of social interaction and personal satisfaction. Also, her love for cooking allows her a sense of contentment connecting with her family.
Nicola graduated from North Kent College and Lloyd’s Maritime Academy with a Diploma in Maritime Business Management.
She is a devoted mother to three wonderful children; two girls and a boy, ages 29, 25 and 15 years. Her nurturing personality is grounded in her favorite quote: “The strongest factor for success is believing you can do it, believing you deserve it and believing you can get it.”

Boris Zimmermann

Boris is our Third Party Agencies Commercial Manager. Originally from Bremerhaven, Germany, he has over 20 years of experience in the shipping and logistics field. He has lived and worked in Latin America for the past 15 years and has extensive knowledge about local markets. His favorite part about his job is the fact that it changes often, and his day-to-day is never the same. It also allows him to learn about other cultures in addition to different industries that are moving products around the globe. Boris loves being able to build the best possible logistics product for each individual customer, be it by air or ocean. In his free time, you can find Boris spending time with his family, traveling, or relaxing with a good book.
