RULE: 2.18: RATING ADVERTISING MATTER SHIPPED WITH COMMODITIES          

Effective 1/20/16         

Except as otherwise provided herein, advertising matter, including premiums or gift articles, if shipped with the goods advertised will be accorded the rate applicable to such articles, provided the weight or measurement of the advertising matter does not exceed 5% of the total weight or measurement as freighted of the entire shipment. 

Advertising matter in excess of 5% of the weight or measurement of the entire shipment will be charged at the applicable rate published in this tariff.   

Note: Advertising matter does NOT include figures, images, signs-electric or neon, or stationary.
