RULE: 2.33: SHIPPERS REQUIREMENT TO SUBMIT SHIPMENT INFORMATION Effective 2/09/16

Carrier's form of shipping receipt can be obtained free of charge upon request. Shipper not using Carrier's form must furnish, in writing, and tender with the goods, name of vessel for which shipment is intended, date of sailing, port of discharge, correct description of cargo, marks, numbers, gross weight of each package and for whose account cargo is delivered. It shall be prohibited for any person (which includes individuals, Corporations, Partnerships, and Associations existing under or authorized by the laws of the United States or a Domestic Offshore Trade), to knowingly and willfully willfully, directly or indirectly, by means of false billing, false classification, false weighing, false report of weight, false measurement, or by any other unjust or unfair device or means obtain or attempt to obtain ocean transportation for property at less than the rate or charges that would otherwise be applicable.

If the cargo declaration on the shipping documents contains a description of the cargo differing from that on the Electronic Export Information, the Carrier will rate the Bill of Lading according to the description and Schedule "B" number appearing on the E.E.I.
